Short stay

60-minute stops go here: Short-Term Parking at ANU

Short-Term Parking sits directly in front of the single passenger terminal (Terminal 1) at V. C. Bird International Airport, so it’s the closest option for drop-offs, quick pickups, and short visits inside. You’re on the curb in a couple of minutes, even with a bag or two.

This is a classic short-stay lot, priced for hours rather than days, so it suits runs to check-in counters or meeting arrivals more than overnight trips. If you’re leaving the car longer than a day, it usually works out cheaper and less stressful to move to a long-stay option off-airport or arrange a taxi from St. John’s instead.

The lot sits on the main access road into the terminal area, just past the roundabout that feeds departures and arrivals, so you don’t loop the whole airport to get back out. That makes it handy for locals swinging in from St. John’s or the north coast resorts to meet one specific flight.

Short-Term Parking is outside security, on the public side of Terminal 1, so build in extra time for check-in and screening on peak days when several widebody flights to London, New York, or Miami bunch up. Aim to park at least 2 hours before scheduled departure for regional flights and closer to 3 hours for long-haul.

Payment in airport car parks in Antigua typically runs by the hour with a higher first-hour rate, so bring a backup card and some local cash in case a machine or gate reader misbehaves. Before you lock up, snap a photo of your row and the terminal façade; it saves a sweaty wander in the afternoon sun when you get back.
