2–3 minutes on foot from T1: that’s P1 General

P1 General Car Park sits directly in front of Terminal T1 at César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport, signed as the main short- and medium-stay option. You walk across the access road and you’re already at departures in roughly 2–3 minutes, so it works well for drop-offs, weekend trips, and picking up arrivals without long shuttle rides.

This is the airport’s official surface car park for T1, with marked bays and standard-height access, so vans and family SUVs usually fit without drama. It’s signed as “P1 General” on airport approach roads, and the entrance barrier uses a ticket system at entry and payment machines before exit. Keep your ticket handy; you’ll need it at the pay station before driving out.

P1 General is priced for short and medium stays, not ultra-budget long-term parking, so day rates add up faster than weekly off-airport lots. It suits 1–5 day trips from Lanzarote more than multi-week holidays. Check current tariffs on the AENA site before committing to a long stay, as prices can change seasonally and promotions sometimes appear for weekend parking.

The car park mainly serves Terminal T1 flights, which cover most tourist and inter-island traffic at ACE, so spaces can tighten up during morning peaks and school holidays. If you’re flying from T2 on a domestic or inter-island service, you can still park here, but expect an extra few minutes’ walk or a short transfer depending on signage and current airport layout.

Tip: Aim to arrive at P1 General at least 20–30 minutes before you want to be in the T1 check-in hall, giving you time to find a bay, pay attention to level or row markers, and walk back with luggage without rushing.
