Valet Parking

Valet

DKK 300 a day sounds like valet, but AAR doesn’t run it

Aarhus Airport’s official parking info lists self-park in P1 and P2 only, and there’s no active mention of any Valet Parking service at terminal T. Guides and review sites that cover AAR all point back to the same setup: you park your own car, pick a lot, and walk to the terminal entrance.

Trip planners still quote premium-style prices around DKK 300 per day, but on the ground you’re choosing between P1 and P2, not handing keys to a valet next to the terminal doors. At larger Scandinavian airports, valet at the curb is normal; here, regulars call out the gap and just factor in a short walk instead of expecting staff to park the car.

P1 is the closest lot to terminal T and sits right by the main building, so it’s the default choice for anyone with heavy luggage or kids who would have picked valet in Copenhagen or Oslo. If you usually budget for valet, think of P1 as the “premium” tier instead and assume a walk measured in minutes, not seconds from the drop-off lane.

P2 sits a bit farther from the terminal than P1 and is used by flyers trying to cut trip costs instead of paying higher daily rates like DKK 300. Since AAR is a small regional airport, some frequent travellers skip parking completely and arrive by bus or train from Aarhus city rather than hunting for an upscale valet bay.

Practical tip: If a third-party site sells “Valet Parking” at AAR at around DKK 300 per day, double-check directly with Aarhus Airport and be ready to pivot to self-park in P1 or P2 when you reach terminal T.
