Long Stay Parking

Long stay

100 HRK per day sets the tone: this is true long-stay pricing

Long Stay Parking at Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport runs at 100 HRK per day or 600 HRK per week, so it undercuts the on-airport car park where you’d pay 24 € for the first 24 hours plus 13 € for every extra day. It’s a proper long-stay setup rather than the meter-style 24-hour blocks you get in the main ZAG public lot.

The lot sits about 0.5 miles from Terminal T1. On foot, that’s roughly a 3-minute walk if you’re light on luggage and the weather holds. If you’d rather ride, the shuttle runs in about 10 minutes in normal traffic, with advertised waits of around 15 minutes at peak times, so build that into your check-in buffer.

As a long-stay only option, this car park makes the most sense from around 3–4 days onward, when the weekly 600 HRK cap starts to look better than paying the airport’s uncapped 13 € per extra day. Croatian forums often compare that weekly figure with off-airport lots like Flight Park Zagreb, which sell themselves on one simple 0–24 h price plus shuttle.

Regulars at ZAG with longer trips either push for off-airport rates or skip parking entirely and follow the FlyerTalk crowd into Uber/taxis, but Long Stay Parking still wins for anyone who wants their car within a 0.5-mile radius of T1 and doesn’t want to think about transfers. The main complaint you see is straightforward: multi-day cost feels high for a regional airport if you don’t hit the 600 HRK weekly value.

Tip: lock in your arrival and departure times, then time your shuttle: aim to be at the lot at least 25–30 minutes before check-in opens to cover the 10-minute ride plus a possible 15-minute wait.
