PUB

★ 2.5 $$$$

PUB is the lobby bar inside the Montréal Airport Marriott

This is the bar in the Montréal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel, attached directly to the YUL terminal complex, and it feels exactly like that: standard hotel pub, more about proximity than personality. You’re paying airport-hotel prices here, with mains often landing in the CAD $25–$35 range and a basic beer or glass of wine easily clearing $10 before tip.

The space sits just off the Marriott lobby, a few minutes’ walk from the main terminal concourse through the hotel corridor, so it works best if you’re already staying in one of the roughly 275 rooms upstairs. It’s post-check-in for hotel guests, but pre-security for flights, so don’t cut it close if you still need to clear CATSA; build at least a 45-minute buffer from last sip to boarding time at a regular gate.

Food runs “standard Marriott bar” as one TripAdvisor review puts it: burgers, wings, club sandwiches, a salad or two, and the usual hotel-issue pasta, often around that $25–$30 mark for a plate. Nothing here becomes a destination dish, and with the overall rating hovering around 2.5 stars, expectations should sit firmly at “serviceable calories” rather than “memorable meal.” If you’re hungry, the safer bets tend to be basic items like a burger or fries, where it’s harder for the kitchen to miss.

Drinks skew classic: bottled beer, a few wines by the glass, and hotel-standard cocktails that run in the mid-teens in Canadian dollars. One guest called it “fine for a nightcap, nothing memorable,” which tracks with the bar’s role as backup when you don’t feel like leaving the property. Watch out for the bill; complaints about high prices are common, especially once tax and a 15–20% tip land on top.

If you’re overnighting at the Marriott and care about cost or character, check what’s still open in the main terminal first; PUB works best as the “too tired to walk farther” option.
