Hermès

T3

Near T3 international gates, Hermès is the big-name splurge stop.

This Hermès sits airside in Terminal T3, so you hit it after security and immigration on most international departures. It mainly targets China domestic and outbound luxury shoppers, so expect high-end pricing on everything from silk scarves to small leather goods. Inventory skews classic logo pieces and accessories rather than runway fashion, which matters if you’re hunting a specific scarf print or belt style.

Opening hours generally track long-haul banks at T3, roughly early morning through late-night departures, but shutters can come down between flights, especially after 22:00. Bags and larger leather items tend to run in the five-figure CNY range, while small accessories like twillies and perfume are the entry point if you want a lower-ticket airport buy. Tax-free pricing is baked in on eligible items, but don’t assume a huge discount versus city boutiques.

Staff usually handle Mandarin and basic English, and payments lean heavy on UnionPay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay alongside standard Visa and Mastercard. Stock rotation can be slower than Shanghai or Beijing flagships, so the T3 store is better for impulse pieces than chasing limited editions. You can still ask staff to check sizes on belts or sandals; they’ll usually pull options within 5–10 minutes if the backroom isn’t slammed.

Tip: If you’re leaving from a far-out T3 gate, shop first, then allow at least 10–15 minutes to walk to boarding; XIY’s T3 pier feels longer than it looks on the map.
