Yoshinoya

T3

T3 lists a Yoshinoya, but information is thin

T3 at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport officially shows a Yoshinoya, but regulars on FlyerTalk and Chinese travel forums barely mention it. That usually means a very new outlet, a rebranded local franchise, or a listing that lags reality. Treat it as a bonus option rather than something to plan a tight connection around.

All we can say with confidence: if it’s operating, it sits airside in Terminal 3, so you should already be through security before you go looking. XIY’s T3 mainly handles international and some domestic flights, and walking end to end can run 10–15 minutes, so don’t assume Yoshinoya is right next to your gate.

Pricing at airport Yoshinoya outlets in China usually runs around ¥35–¥55 for a basic beef bowl set with a drink, so expect something in that range rather than downtown Xi’an street‑food prices. If you see significantly higher numbers on the menu boards, you’re paying a full airport premium and might be just as happy at a generic noodle stall nearby.

Menu coverage is also guesswork: standard Yoshinoya in China typically has gyudon, chicken bowls, and a few side dishes like salad or miso soup, often pictured on large overhead boards. If you spot those familiar orange‑and‑white Yoshinoya signs in T3, check the photos first; if there’s no beef bowl or rice bowl in sight, you may be looking at a different brand using a similar name.

No consistent complaints, regular orders, or reported hours surfaced for Yoshinoya XIY during research, which is unusual for a chain with thousands of daily customers. That silence is the main data point. Tip: build in 5–10 spare minutes before boarding to walk T3 and verify Yoshinoya actually exists near your gate before counting on it as your main meal.
