Almost no one talks about Check in Bar at WRO
In T1 at Copernicus Wrocław Airport, Check in Bar sits in the main passenger area as one of the smaller food-and-drink options. There’s almost zero chatter about it on Reddit, FlyerTalk, or Google reviews, which usually means it’s a quick “beer while you wait” stop, not a destination people plan around. Expect simple drinks and basic snacks rather than a full hot-meal restaurant.
Everything here is post-security in T1, so you clear checks first, then find Check in Bar along the departures area before the gates. Hours track the flight schedule, generally opening early morning for the first departures and closing after the last evening flights, but don’t count on it for a 04:30 coffee on a random Tuesday. If you land late on a delayed arrival around 23:30, assume it’s already shut.
Pricing is airport-standard Poland: think around 15–20 PLN for soft drinks, 20–30 PLN for a beer, and 15–25 PLN for small snacks like crisps or a packaged sandwich. Card payments are accepted, and PLN cash also works, useful if you’re burning the last 10–20 złoty in your wallet before leaving the country. Don’t expect value; you’re paying for being 100 meters from your gate.
No standout dishes or drinks come up in any traveller reports, so treat the menu as generic: beer, basic spirits, bottled drinks, and packaged bites. If you want a proper sit-down meal in WRO, you’re generally better off eating in the city before heading to the airport or grabbing something more substantial at another T1 venue with clearer food reviews.
Practical tip: use Check in Bar for a fast drink near your gate, but if you have more than 60–90 minutes before departure, walk the length of T1 once and compare menus and seating before committing your last PLN here.
