Two-minute walk from Terminal A, priced for quick drop-offs
P7 Car Park sits just across the access road from Warsaw Chopin’s Terminal A, roughly a 2–3 minute walk to departures. It is classed as a short-stay car park, so think hours rather than days. This works well for picking someone up off LO flights, quick business meetings at the terminal, or accompanying family to check-in without stressing about distance.
Spaces at P7 are uncovered and laid out in standard-width bays, so expect regular outdoor parking rather than a multi-storey structure. Being this close to Terminal A, you skip shuttle buses entirely and just follow the pedestrian crossings straight into the main hall. Signage for “P7 Krótkoterminowy” appears as you approach the terminal roads, so set your GPS for Warsaw Chopin, then follow airport signs for P7 on the final 500–800 meters.
P7 uses barrier-controlled entry with ticket machines at the gate, and payment at pay stations before exit. Short-stay pricing at WAW is typically calculated per 10–15 minutes for the first hour, then per hour blocks after that, so watch the time if you are waiting for delayed arrivals. Payment machines usually accept cards and Polish złoty notes/coins; plan a backup card if you are landing late, as not every machine likes foreign cash.
P7 is inside the main airport road loop, so traffic can stack up around early-morning waves for LOT and Schengen departures between 05:00 and 08:00. Build a buffer of at least 15 minutes for terminal access during that peak, especially on Monday mornings. Final tip: if you are just dropping someone at departures with no need to park more than a few minutes, compare the P7 tariff with the terminal curbside drop-off zone to avoid overpaying for a very short stop.
