P6 Car Park

Short-stay

Five-minute walk from Terminal A, P6 handles true short stops.

P6 Car Park sits in front of Warsaw Chopin’s Terminal A, aimed at short-stay parking when you’re dropping off, picking up, or running in for a quick meet-and-greet. It’s closer than the long-stay lots, so you shave a few minutes off the walk compared with P4 or P2. This is all open-air parking, standard bays, no height-restricted garage ramps to worry about.

This car park works on a pay-at-barrier system, with charges calculated by the minute rather than full-day blocks, which suits stays under a few hours. Pricing is tiered, with the cheapest band covering the first hour, then stepping up as you stay longer; once you get close to full-day rates, the airport’s long-stay car parks usually beat it. You enter via the signed P6 entrance off Żwirki i Wigury, just after the main terminal access roads.

P6 is directly on the terminal side of the main access road, so the walk to Departures at Terminal A is roughly 3–5 minutes depending on where you find a space. There’s no shuttle bus because you don’t need one at this distance. Marked pedestrian paths lead you toward the terminal doors, and you reach the main check-in hall without crossing any high-speed traffic lanes.

There’s standard ANPR and ticketing at the P6 barriers, and you can usually pay via card at machines or directly at the exit gate. P6 is open 24/7 in line with Warsaw Chopin’s flight schedule, so late-night arrivals and early-morning departures are covered. Security patrols and cameras match the rest of the on-airport car parks, but nothing like private “meet and greet” services here.

Tip: If your stay will run over 4–5 hours, check the current daily rate tables online; at that point P4 or another long-stay lot can be significantly cheaper than keeping the car in P6.
