Gate-side pints near Schengen departures in T1
Right in Terminal T1 after security, Heineken Bar sits by the Schengen gate area and runs through most of the flight day, typically from early morning departures to late evening banks. It’s a straightforward spot for a quick beer and a snack when you don’t want to wander far from your gate at Vilnius International Airport (VNO).
The tap list leans heavily on Heineken, with standard 0.5 L draughts usually priced in the mid single digits in euros, plus a few bottled options. Expect the usual airport markup compared with central Vilnius, but still less painful than some larger EU hubs. Soft drinks, coffee, and basic spirits are on hand if you’re not in the mood for beer before your flight.
Food is simple bar fare: think sandwiches, burgers, and snacks that land in the 7–15 EUR range. Portions tend to be enough for a layover meal without needing a second stop. It’s all counter service, so you order, pay, then grab a high-top or bar stool overlooking the T1 concourse and departure screens.
Seats fill up around the morning wave of departures between 06:00 and 09:00 and again in the early evening, especially on busy days to cities like London and Frankfurt. Turnover is quick, though, since most guests leave as soon as their gate starts boarding. Power outlets are limited along the bar, so don’t bank on a full charge with your beer.
Tip: If your gate is already showing “boarding soon” on the T1 screens, stick to a bottled drink at Heineken Bar so you can walk it back to the gate area in under two minutes.
