Gate-side beer stop in T1 with simple snack plates
Beer & Snacks Bar sits airside in Terminal T1, a short walk from most Schengen gates at Vilnius Airport. It’s a basic counter-and-table setup, more “quick pint before boarding” than full restaurant. You order at the bar, pay there, and they’ll call your number; average dwell time is 15–30 minutes, so it works on a tight connection.
The menu leans on beer-friendly food: fries, simple sandwiches, and salty snacks to go with a draft. Expect standard European lagers and a couple of Lithuanian options, typically in the €4–€6 range for a 0.5 L pour. Food items like a hot dog or panini usually land in the €5–€8 bracket, enough to take the edge off a delay but not a full sit-down meal.
Service runs in line with typical T1 operating hours, roughly from the first wave of departures around 05:00 until late-evening flights taper off near 22:00–23:00. It’s post-security only, so you need a boarding pass in hand. Seats fill quickly in the 06:00–08:00 bank when Ryanair and Wizz flights cluster, and you may end up standing with your beer at a high-top.
There’s no table service or elaborate cocktails here; it’s beer, basic spirits, and pre-mixed soft drinks. You’ll find bottled water and sodas at similar prices to other T1 outlets, usually €2–€3. Power outlets are limited, and there’s no dedicated kid’s menu, so families with young children may be happier at a larger café elsewhere in T1.
Tip: If your gate is at the far end of T1 (around A16–A18), place your order to go and walk down with your snack; staff are used to people grabbing a quick beer and packet of nuts on the way to boarding.
