Relay

Gate-side bookstand in T: Relay for last‑minute basics

Relay sits airside in Terminal T at Valencia Airport, just past security on the way to the main gates. It’s a standard airport newsstand setup: magazines, paperbacks, snacks, and travel accessories in one compact space. You’ll spot it by the racks of Spanish and English newspapers facing the main passenger flow.

Hours typically run from early morning departures through the last evening flights, roughly 6:00 to 22:00, but expect shorter hours on quieter winter days. This is one of the few places in T where you can grab both a bottle of water and a new USB cable without backtracking toward check‑in.

Pricing tracks standard EU airport levels: bottled water around €2–3, grab‑and‑go snacks in the €2–5 range, and paperbacks closer to €10–15 depending on language and publisher. If you need a quick souvenir under €10, look at the postcard and keyring racks near the entrance instead of the more expensive branded gift items.

Stock leans heavily on Spanish titles, but there’s usually a shelf or two of English-language bestsellers plus a rotating stand of travel guides for Spain and Valencia. Tech accessories cover basics only: charging cables, simple headphones, and power banks, with most items under €30.

Tip: Stop here right after security rather than waiting by the gates; queues build up around the 7:00–9:00 and 18:00–20:00 departure banks and the small store gets cramped fast.
