Capi

1

Just past security in Terminal 1, Capi is your electronics stop.

Capi in Terminal 1 sits airside in the Schengen area, so you can hit it after security without backtracking through check-in. It’s the standard European airport electronics chain: headphones, chargers, travel adapters, power banks, and a mix of cameras and small gadgets on the shelves. Prices run higher than downtown Vienna, but not wildly out of line for an airport store.

You’ll find the usual big brands here: Apple-compatible cables, Samsung phone accessories, JBL and Sony headphones, plus generic USB-C and Lightning chargers. If you forgot an EU plug adapter, they stock multi-country versions that cover Type C for Austria and several other regions. Expect to pay around €20–€40 for a mid-range power bank and €15–€25 for basic cables and adapters.

Stock leans heavily toward last-minute travel fixes rather than deep tech browsing, so don’t count on niche camera lenses or high-end gaming gear. The upside: quick in-and-out, usually under 10 minutes, especially outside the early-morning bank of departures from 06:00 to 09:00. Staff speak English and German, and can normally test a cable or charger on the spot if you ask.

If your phone battery is already in the red before boarding from a Terminal 1 gate, grab a compact power bank here and charge while you sit at the gate rather than hunting for an outlet in crowded seating areas.
