Parking Space A

Official parking

5–7 minutes on foot from Terminal 1 and 3

Parking Space A sits directly at Vienna International Airport, around a 5–7 minute walk from Terminals 1 and 3, depending on which end of the car park you use. It’s an official on-airport facility, so you stay inside the airport road system the whole time and skip any off-site shuttle loop.

This is a surface and multi-storey style official lot, signed as “Parking A” on the airport approach roads to Terminals 1, 1A, and 3. You pay at on-site machines or via the airport’s payment system, with prices higher than long-term off-site options but lower than the closest premium garages. If your flight leaves from Terminal 3, aim for the rows nearest the terminal-side exit ramps to shave a couple of minutes off the walk.

Parking Space A is open 24/7 in line with Vienna International Airport operations and works for both short stays of a few hours and trips that run several days. Being official parking, it links directly to the main terminal walkways and signage in German and English, which helps if you land late and need to find your car after a 23:00 arrival.

For drop-offs under about 1–2 hours, Parking Space A usually comes out cheaper than using premium terminal-front options for the same period. For trips longer than roughly 3–4 days, run the math against Vienna’s other official long-term car parks, which can undercut A’s daily rate once you pass that length of stay.

Tip: Take a quick photo of your level and nearest pillar number before you walk to Terminal 1, 1A, or 3; the rows look similar when you get back after a late-night flight.
