2–3 minutes on foot from Terminal 3 check-in
Car Park 3 sits directly opposite Vienna Airport Terminal 3, so you walk to check-in in roughly 2–3 minutes under cover the whole way. It’s signed as a short-stay option, so pricing makes the most sense for a few hours up to a couple of days rather than a long holiday trip.
This is a multi-storey car park with numbered levels and marked pedestrian exits leading straight toward Terminal 3 and the CAT/rail area. If you’re flying Austrian out of Terminal 3, this is the closest structured parking you’ll get to the main departures hall. For Terminal 1 or 1A, factor in a few extra minutes to walk across the central forecourt.
Car Park 3 functions as short-stay, so hourly and day rates run higher than the more distant long-term lots and outdoor car parks. It usually works best if you’re dropping a car for one business day, picking up family, or parking for a weekend. For anything longer than 3–4 days, compare prices with the long-term sectors on the airport’s parking calculator before you commit.
The car park connects to the terminal area via covered walkways and lifts, which helps in winter or in rain. There are designated spaces close to the elevators for reduced-mobility drivers, and pay machines sit near the main exits so you can pay before walking back to your car. Height restrictions apply, so double-check if you drive a van or high SUV.
Tip: Note your level and sector letter on your phone as soon as you park; Car Park 3 is compact but stacked, and a 10-minute search at 05:30 hurts more than the short-stay tariff.
