A standard adult fare on Sun Tran Route 25 is usually under $2 one-way, and you pay as you board at the front door. Drivers accept exact cash and SunGO cards, and kids under a specific age often ride discounted or free, so families can move between the airport and city without dropping rideshare-level money. From TUS, Route 25 typically takes around 35–45 minutes to reach downtown Tucson, depending on traffic along 6th Avenue and time of day. The line ties into other Sun Tran routes at major transfer points near transit centers, so you can keep going toward the University of Arizona area or north-side neighborhoods without touching a taxi.
The bus stop is at the arrivals curb, so if you’re starting from a departure-level drop-off upstairs at the Main Terminal, plan 3–5 extra minutes to ride the escalator or elevator down one level and walk out to the lower roadway.
