SAGAT Shop

SAGAT Shop by T1 departures security

Right by security in Terminal T1, SAGAT Shop is the main airside newsstand and convenience stop at Turin Airport. It sits on the departures level, so you hit it naturally on the walk to the gates. Think quick grab-and-go before a Schengen hop or a short-haul Ryanair or ITA flight.

Hours usually track the first and last departures of the day, roughly 05:30 to 21:30, but can shorten on light-traffic days. You’ll find the basics: bottled water, soft drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, and a small fridge with juices. Expect airport pricing, with 0.5L water around €1–2 and snacks in the €1.50–4 range.

Magazines and newspapers lean heavily Italian, with a handful of English titles and sometimes French or German, reflecting TRN’s mix of domestic and short European routes. There’s also a modest rack of paperback books, mostly mainstream fiction and travel guides for Italy and the Alps, handy if you’re facing a 2–3 hour delay.

Beyond reading material, SAGAT Shop stocks last‑minute travel bits: plug adapters, basic headphones, phone cables, and small toiletry items under the 100ml carry-on limit. You’ll also see some Torino and Piemonte souvenirs, from keyrings under €5 to chocolate and hazelnut products pushing €10–15 as gifts.

Lines build in the 30 minutes before banked departures, especially around the 06:30–08:30 wave. If you want water and a snack without rushing, stop here right after security instead of waiting until your gate area starts to fill.
