Several TVs and draft beer right in Terminal B

O'Learys in Terminal B is the only proper sports bar once you’re airside at Trondheim Airport, Værnes, sitting past security in the B gates area. Screens run live matches and highlight reels all day, so longer layovers turn into a seat, a pint, and something to watch instead of pacing the concourse. It’s a full bar and restaurant, not a kiosk, and you can see the gates from many of the tables, which helps when your boarding time slips by 10–15 minutes.

Hours are simple: O'Learys opens when there are flights, so on peak weekday banks you’ll usually find it running early morning through late evening. Prices land in the mid-range $$ bracket by Norwegian airport standards, with mains hovering in the 200–300 NOK zone depending on the exchange rate. Being post-security in Terminal B means it mainly serves Schengen departures, so plan for this if you’re connecting from A and want a sit-down meal before a regional hop.

The menu leans American bar food: burgers, wings, ribs, and a few salads, all ordered from a standard printed menu that includes the house special, the Local Hero burger. That dish is the move here if you want one clear pick, and it usually comes out quicker than the ribs or larger platters when the bar is full before a 17:30 departure bank. Draft beer, basic cocktails, and soft drinks round it out, with 0.4–0.5 L beers typically pricing in the low 100s NOK.

Service pace tracks the departure board: when two or three B-gate flights board within 45 minutes, expect slower bar and kitchen times. Seating is a mix of high-tops, regular tables, and bar stools, so solo travelers often grab the counter first. Practical tip: if you’re tight on time, sit at the bar and order the Local Hero with fries and a draft in one go; you’re more likely to eat and close out within 30 minutes before your gate at B opens.
