T2

Near T2 departures, Hi-Life covers quick last-minute basics

Hi-Life in Terminal T2 sits airside, handy if you forgot snacks or small essentials after security. It runs more like a neighborhood convenience store than an airport souvenir stall, so expect drinks, chips, instant noodles, and simple hot items instead of gift-heavy shelves. Prices track close to city Hi-Life branches, not the 20–30% airport markup you see elsewhere in TPE.

This T2 branch stocks standard Taiwanese convenience-store hits: tea eggs, onigiri, microwavable bentos, and bottled milk tea in the cooler. You’ll also see single-serve drip coffee packs and candy that work well as quick “I was in Taiwan” gifts without eating luggage space. Alcohol is limited compared with duty free, but basic beer and RTD drinks are usually in the fridge.

Service is set up for speed: grab, pay, go. Expect a couple of self-serve hot water stations for instant noodles, plus microwaves for bentos, like any city Hi-Life. Lines flare up around the common bank of departures near T2’s evening long-haul wave, around 20:00–23:00, but tend to clear within 5–10 minutes.

Tip: if your connection in T2 is under 45 minutes, skip the food courts and hit Hi-Life for an onigiri and drink instead; you’ll stay closer to your gate and still avoid boarding hungry.
