Gate-side Dead Sea products in Terminal 3
Dead Sea Spa sits airside in Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion, aimed squarely at anyone who forgot to buy mineral skincare in the city. It stocks the usual Dead Sea salt scrubs, mud masks, and mineral creams, plus gift sets that actually pack flat in a cabin bag. Expect prices higher than downtown Tel Aviv shops, but still within typical airport markup territory.
Most of the shelves focus on Israeli Dead Sea brands, with plenty of 100–250 ml bottles that meet the 100 ml cabin rules once opened and shared. Staff often push multi-buy deals on hand cream and body lotion; do the math, because a three-pack can be better value than singles if you’re grabbing presents for 2–3 people.
Figure 10–15 minutes to browse properly if you’re near the main Terminal 3 duty free loop, since the store layout is tight and testers on the scrubs and masks slow things down. Packaging ranges from basic plastic tubs to boxed sets with Hebrew and English descriptions, so you can quickly check ingredients if you’re avoiding added fragrance or oils.
Payment is easy: they take major credit cards, shekels, and usually euros or US dollars at a rate that favors the house. If your gate in Terminal 3 is more than a 5-minute walk, grab what you want in a single pass and skip the “just one more scent” sampling; mineral salts are heavy, and one 500 g bag is enough to feel like a souvenir without wrecking your carry-on weight.
