JETEX Lounge

Private terminal, private security, private car: JETEX is TLV’s VIP option

At Ben Gurion (TLV), JETEX runs a separate VIP terminal, not an airside lounge in Terminal 1 or 3. You arrive by car directly to the JETEX facility, clear private security and immigration there, and then get driven to your aircraft in a dedicated vehicle.

Access is by pre-booked VIP service only, usually via JETEX, a travel agent, or your airline or concierge; you don’t just walk in from Terminal 3 with a Priority Pass. The whole point is skipping the regular TLV queues, from the initial security interview to border control.

Inside, expect standard lounge comforts in a smaller private-terminal setting: seating areas, refreshments, Wi‑Fi, and quiet space away from the main building crowds. You stay in the JETEX lounge until the staff call your flight and escort you through a private exit to the car transfer.

The JETEX terminal handles both departures and arrivals for passengers who have arranged full VIP meet-and-assist. On arrival at TLV, staff can meet your aircraft, drive you to the JETEX facility, and run you through private immigration and baggage handling before you head into the city.

Pricing isn’t public like a day-pass lounge; rates vary by service level, number of passengers, and sometimes airline or booking channel. Think in the same range as premium VIP meet-and-greet services at other major hubs, often running to several hundred dollars per party rather than a $50 walk-up fee.

Food and drinks at JETEX generally fall into the “light meal” bracket: snacks, soft drinks, coffee, and sometimes more substantial options depending on time of day and your arrangement. This is not a full restaurant terminal; if you need a specific meal, confirm catering details with JETEX or your agent in advance.

The key trade-off is time and stress versus money. At a security-heavy airport like TLV, skipping the main terminal screening and border lines can easily save 45–60 minutes, especially at peak bank times before late-night departures from Terminal 3.

Practical tip: treat JETEX as part of your ground transport plan at TLV and give them your flight number, passenger details, and car information at least 24–48 hours ahead; last-minute requests at Ben Gurion rarely go smoothly.
