Fattal Terminal

1

Separate building, separate security line: Fattal Terminal is its own mini-terminal at TLV

This isn’t inside Terminal 1 at all; Fattal Terminal sits in a standalone building on the Ben Gurion Airport grounds and runs its own check-in, security, passport control, and lounge setup for departing passengers. You pre-book access as a paid service, then your airline ticket still shows TLV Terminal 1 as usual for the flight number and gate.

Arrivals and departures run through the private facility, then a dedicated vehicle takes you airside directly to your aircraft parked on the Terminal 1 apron. Instead of joining the regular TLV security line that can spike past 60–90 minutes in peak morning banks, you clear screening inside Fattal’s own checkpoint with only other terminal users in front of you.

Inside the building you get a single combined lounge-style space with seating, food, and drink, plus staff handling check-in formalities and passport control on-site. You wait there until boarding, then ground staff call your specific flight by number and drive you out, instead of sending you to a numbered gate in Terminal 1. It functions more like a VIP terminal product at smaller European capitals than a Priority Pass lounge.

Pricing runs as a per-passenger fee booked in advance through Fattal or via some travel agencies, rather than via airline status or a credit card lounge network. Your flight still operates from Terminal 1 with buses or walking stands, but you never step into the main T1 building at all, and you do not use its common security or gate waiting areas.

Service times tie directly to your scheduled departure, so plan to arrive at the Fattal building roughly 2–2.5 hours before your flight’s printed time, the same way you would for regular TLV Terminal 1 check-in. Because this is off the standard terminal footprint, build in an extra 10–15 minutes for the drive from central Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to find the correct entrance and complete any booking verification at the door.

Practical tip: double-check that your airline and specific flight from TLV Terminal 1 are compatible with the Fattal Terminal service on your chosen date before you pay, as not every carrier or ticket type participates on every departure.
