Sun & Sand

Gate-side basics in Terminal 1

Just past security in Terminal 1, Sun & Sand sits in the main departures shopping strip and covers the usual last-minute needs: drinks, snacks, and travel sundries. You’ll see it on the way toward the Schengen gates, so it’s an easy stop without detouring far from your boarding area.

Expect standard airport pricing, with bottled water around €3 and single-serve snacks from about €2–€4. Shelves typically carry packaged sweets, crisps, and a few grab-and-go items that survive short flights easily. If you need a quick refill on basics before a 60–90 minute hop, it does the job.

Sun & Sand also stocks small travel items: think neck pillows, eye masks, basic chargers, and European plug adapters in the €10–€20 range. It’s useful if your hotel ate your charging cable or you forgot an adapter for a non-EU laptop. Staff usually handle simple tech questions in English and French.

A small rack has Toulouse-themed souvenirs and gifts, with magnets and keyrings starting near €5 and T-shirts and tote bags running higher. Nothing you couldn’t find in the city, but it helps if your flight is in under 45 minutes and you skipped souvenir shopping downtown.

Tip: Hit Sun & Sand right after security in Terminal 1; queues are shorter than when several gates call boarding at the same time.
