Pizza Hut

Gate-area carbs before CBX? Pizza Hut has you covered

This Pizza Hut sits inside TIJ’s Main Terminal, airside, so you’re already through security before you order. It runs long hours that generally track with flight banks, with the busiest stretch between about 06:00 and 09:00 and again from 17:00 onward. Expect a standard quick-service setup: counter ordering, grab a tray, and keep an eye on the screens while you wait for your slice.

Prices land in typical airport territory: individual slices usually hover in the MX$60–80 range, and a small pie pushes past MX$200 once you add toppings. Soft drinks come in the usual fountain sizes, with combos that shave a few pesos versus ordering pizza and drink separately. Card payment is normal here; carry a backup card in case one network glitches.

The menu sticks to the familiar: pepperoni, Hawaiian, and meat combos are the workhorses, plus cheese-only pies if you just want something plain. Slices come out of display warmers, so ask for a quick reheat if your slice looks like it has been sitting for more than 15–20 minutes. If you have a bit more time before boarding, ordering a fresh small pizza means waiting around 12–15 minutes, which pairs fine with a typical 30-minute pre-boarding window.

Seats are limited near the counter, and nearby gate seating fills fast during busy CBX crowds heading to the United States in the morning. If you’re tight on time for a Main Terminal departure, grab a box and eat closer to your gate. For CBX users, factor in the extra walking time to the bridge; don’t start a whole pie if boarding is inside 25 minutes.

Tip: check your gate first, then order a slice and drink you can carry; TIJ’s last-minute gate swaps within the Main Terminal are common enough to justify staying mobile.
