Gate-side beer stop with wings in the Main Terminal

Beer & Wings sits past security in TIJ’s Main Terminal, so you’re already through formalities before you order. It targets the quick pre-flight crowd, with counter service and tables close enough to see boarding zones form. Layout feels like a sports bar-style pit stop, screens on, music at a medium level, and turnover moves fast when banks of Volaris and Aeroméxico flights push.

Menu focus is right in the name: plates of wings and draft beer. Expect standard flavors like buffalo and barbecue, plus a couple of spicier options that match Baja tastes. Portion sizes lean large enough to split one order between two people if you just want a snack with a beer. Pricing lands above street-side Tijuana spots but in normal airport range, with wings and a drink running into the mid-hundreds of pesos.

Drinks skew toward Mexican lagers and a few recognizable international labels, usually on tap and in bottles. If you have 40–60 minutes before boarding, you can sit, order wings and a beer, and still walk to most Main Terminal gates without rushing. With only a short layover under 30 minutes, it’s realistically a drinks-only stop at the bar counter while you keep one eye on the departure screens.

Service timing tracks with flight banks: at quiet times between 10:00 and 12:00 or late evenings after 21:00, plates can show up in under 15 minutes, while peak departures around early morning and late afternoon can stretch that closer to 25 minutes. Staff are used to travelers asking “how long?” based on boarding time, so say your gate and departure when you order.

Tip: If your flight uses a remote stand with bus boarding, aim to close out your tab at least 20 minutes before departure; those bus calls at TIJ often start earlier than standard boarding times on the screen.
