Relay

Terminal

Right after security in T1, Relay is your quick grab spot

Relay sits airside in T1, just past security and before you hit most departure gates, so you cross it on the way to boarding. Shelves carry standard travel accessories like power banks and basic headphones plus last‑minute toiletries, handy if something got pulled at screening. You also see local magazines and some English‑language titles, useful on a 2–3 hour regional hop where inflight Wi‑Fi is hit or miss.

Pricing runs airport-normal: bottled water lands around the 1–2 EUR mark and snacks climb quickly once you move past chips and candy. Expect to pay a few extra euros over city supermarkets for things like sunscreen or phone chargers. If you just need gum, a drink, or a cheap pen to fill out landing cards, you can be in and out in under 5 minutes, even with a short queue.

Books and newspapers lean toward Albanian and regional content, with a smaller rack of English paperbacks and guidebooks focused on Tirana and the Albanian coast. Souvenirs skew simple: logo mugs, magnets, and keychains under 10 EUR, not the place for serious handicrafts. If you care about coffee quality, use the main terminal cafés instead; here it’s mostly bottled and canned drinks in coolers by the entrance.

Plan to stop here once: first walk past, clock prices, then loop back before your gate if you still need water, a snack for a 2+ hour flight, or a spare charger.
