Bus to Santa Cruz and Buenavis

Tickets for TITSA Line 107 start around a few euros

TITSA Line 107 runs from Tenerife Norte–Ciudad de La Laguna Airport (TFN, Terminal T) down to Santa Cruz de Tenerife and on to Buenavista del Norte on the northwest coast. The buses are green interurban coaches, and you buy a ticket from the driver or tap a Ten+ card for a cheaper fare than paying cash. Rides into central Santa Cruz usually clock in at under an hour, depending on traffic on the TF-5.

The stop for Line 107 sits directly outside the arrivals level at TFN, signed with the green TITSA logo and the route number. You do not go through any extra checkpoints; you just walk straight out of baggage claim and follow the “Bus/Guaguas” signs for less than 200 meters. The same stop usually handles other lines like 102 and 108, so double-check the front display for “107 Santa Cruz / Buenavista.”

Line 107 links the airport with Santa Cruz’s main bus station, Intercambiador de Transportes de Santa Cruz (around 20 km from TFN), and then continues through several towns toward Buenavista del Norte. If you are staying in Santa Cruz, you get off at the Intercambiador and either walk or switch to an urban bus line running every few minutes. From that same station, other TITSA routes fan out across the island, including frequent services to La Laguna and the south.

Tickets on Line 107 cost less when you pay with a Ten+ card or contactless bank card instead of cash; a single ride to Santa Cruz usually comes in under €5, while longer trips toward Buenavista cost more based on distance. You can buy or top up a Ten+ card at airport shops during normal retail hours, or at vending machines and counters inside the Santa Cruz Intercambiador from early morning until late evening. Kids, residents, and some discount card holders pay reduced fares if they tap their own card.

Line 107 uses comfortable coach-style seating and luggage racks big enough for at least a medium suitcase per person, so you do not have to block the aisle. There is air conditioning on board, which matters on sunny days when temperatures run above 25°C along the TF-5. Drivers tend to run on a tight timetable, so have your card or cash ready before you step onto the bus to avoid holding up a line of people behind you.

If Line 107’s departure time does not line up with your landing, check the boards for TITSA Line 102 or Line 108, which also run between TFN and Santa Cruz at different times of day. A quick check of the official TITSA trip planner or Google Maps before you leave baggage claim usually shows which line gets you into Santa Cruz fastest. For tight connections to other buses at the Intercambiador, aim to catch a departure that arrives at least 15 minutes before your next scheduled transfer.

One practical tip: grab small coins or a low-value note from the ATM in the arrivals hall if you plan to pay cash, because drivers sometimes struggle to break €50 notes on airport runs. That two-minute stop at the machine can save you from having to let a half-hourly bus leave without you.
