Gambrinus

Gate-side beer and tapas in T Terminal

Gambrinus sits airside in Terminal T at Tenerife Norte, a few minutes’ walk from most domestic gates, so you can sit down for a drink without losing track of boarding calls. It runs through the main daytime bank of flights, typically opening by mid-morning and staying available into the evening wave when Madrid and Barcelona departures go out.

Prices run in the mid-airport range: expect around €3–€4 for a draft beer, €2–€3 for a soft drink, and roughly €6–€10 for basic tapas or a sandwich. That’s more than Santa Cruz city bars, but roughly in line with other Spanish airports like MAD or BCN, and still cheaper than many Northern European hubs.

The menu leans classic Spanish bar food: think tortilla, croquetas, simple bocadillos, and cured meats paired with beer. You’ll usually see Estrella or similar on tap, with bottled options in the €3–€5 bracket. Food is fine for a quick bite before a 2–3 hour hop to the mainland, but this is not a long-layover dining project.

Service speed varies with the flight bank; during the 07:00–10:00 and 18:00–21:00 peaks, staff juggle coffee, snacks, and full meals for multiple tables. With a 45-minute connection inside T, you’re better off grabbing a drink and one tapa at the bar than sitting deep in the seating area and waiting on a full plate.

Seating is mostly standard café tables with a view into the terminal concourse rather than out to the runway. Power outlets are limited at the actual bar, so if you need to charge your phone before a 3-hour flight, scout the wall seats around the edge first and plug in before ordering.

Last tip: pay at the counter a good 15 minutes before stated boarding time, since TFN often calls groups early for buses out to remote stands, especially on regional flights to islands like LPA or FUE.
