Caffriccio

Gate-side coffee stop by Departures at TFN T

Caffriccio sits in the main Departures area of Tenerife Norte’s Terminal T, just past security and before most gates. It’s a straightforward airport café setup with counter ordering and a handful of tables, so you can keep an eye on the screens while you drink your coffee.

A standard café con leche runs around a few euros here, noticeably cheaper than what you’ll see at many mainland Spanish airports. Expect the usual Spanish coffee lineup (espresso, cortado, cappuccino) along with bottled water, soft drinks, and basic juices. Service runs throughout the main flight bank hours, roughly covering early-morning departures through late evening rotations, but opening times can track the first and last flights of the day.

Food is classic Spanish airport café fare: pre-made sandwiches on baguette-style bread, a few pastries like croissants and napolitanas, and the odd salad or snack pack. Prices stay in the single digits per item, so two coffees and two sandwiches usually sit under 15–18 euros. Quality is fine for a quick bite before a Binter or Iberia Regional hop, but this isn’t a sit-down meal spot.

Caffriccio works best as a “ten minutes before boarding” stop for a caffeine top-up. Power outlets are limited around the seating area, and there’s no table service, so plan on a short stay rather than a work session. If your flight leaves from a remote stand, allow at least 15 minutes from finishing here to reaching the bus gate and boarding line.

Tip: if you care about coffee strength, ask specifically for a “cortado corto de café” at the counter; staff understand the local phrasing and you’ll avoid the weaker, milk-heavy pour that some tourists walk away with.
