Starbucks

T3 Open · 06:00-23:00

Luckin signs everywhere, but this is the T3 Starbucks

In Shenzhen Bao'an T3, Starbucks stands out mostly because almost every other coffee counter has a Luckin logo or a local Chinese brand on the cups. This branch runs daily from 06:00 to 23:00, so it covers most departures, including early domestic flights and late China Southern or Shenzhen Airlines services out of T3.

Expect the usual Starbucks lineup: hot and iced espresso drinks, Frappuccino-style blends, and teas, plus a small pastry case with muffins and sandwiches typically priced in the 30–50 RMB range. Compared to some terminal kiosks charging 40+ RMB for basic drip coffee, prices here sit in the middle of the airport scale, not a bargain but not shocking either.

Menus at this Shenzhen location skew toward local tastes, so you’ll see items like matcha drinks alongside the standard caramel macchiato and latte. Seasonal specials rotate a few times a year, and staff usually have a printed or digital promo board by the register. Order speed is reasonable for T3; during a 09:00–10:00 rush, you’re usually holding your drink in under 10 minutes unless a tour group lands in front of you.

Seating can be tight: a handful of tables plus bar stools fill quickly around morning bank departures from 08:00 to 11:00. Many passengers just grab takeaway and walk the 5–10 minutes back toward gates in the center of T3 rather than hunting for a chair. Power outlets are hit-or-miss, so don’t count on this as your charging stop before a 3-hour hop to Beijing or Shanghai.

Plan one thing: mobile pay moves faster. Have WeChat Pay or Alipay ready in RMB before you stand in line, since card processing can add a minute or two per transaction during peak departure waves.
