24-hour hot food inside T3
Open 00:00–24:00 in Terminal T3, this McDonald’s is the reliable option when every other kitchen in Shenzhen Bao’an is dark. If you land on a 02:15 China Southern arrival or have a 05:40 international departure, you still get a hot burger and fries instead of vending machine snacks.
Because it runs 24 hours, expect a small rush right after the late-night bank of flights around 23:00–01:00 and again from 06:00 when morning departures start. Prices run higher than downtown Shenzhen: think roughly 20–30 RMB for a basic burger, more for set meals with fries and a drink. Card payments and mobile wallets like WeChat Pay and Alipay are standard at the counter.
The menu sticks to the usual McDonald’s lineup: Big Mac, McChicken, fries, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and soft drinks. You sometimes see China-only extras such as spicy chicken burgers or taro pies, but don’t count on every limited item matching what you saw in the city. If you want something quick before boarding from a T3 domestic gate, a standard combo can be in your hand in under 10 minutes outside peak mealtimes.
Seating is functional, with small tables that work for a laptop or a tray, but it fills fast right after flights arriving into T3 between 20:00 and 22:00. Turnover is quick, so waiting a few minutes usually frees up a seat. If it is packed, you can grab your order to go and eat closer to your gate in T3’s general waiting areas.
Tip: If you have an early check-in at T3 and want a proper coffee and breakfast sandwich, plan to eat here before security queues build after 07:00; the 24-hour schedule means you can show up as early as midnight and still get a full hot menu.
