Two Kungfu branches cover both T3 and Ground Transport
Kungfu shows up twice at Shenzhen Bao'an: one inside Terminal T3 and another in the Ground Transportation Center, so you can grab a rice box even after the 22:00 security slowdown. It runs roughly 05:30–22:30 on the airport listings, so early flights and late arrivals are covered better than most mall-style spots here.
This is the same Kungfu chain you see around mainland China, with trays, line ordering, and pre-set combos built around rice, steamed dishes, and soups. Expect mains like kung pao chicken or braised beef over rice in the 30–45 RMB band, plus bottled drinks or soy milk another 6–12 RMB. Portions skew office-lunch size, not tiny snack bar.
The T3 outlet sits airside, so you clear security first, then look for the familiar Kungfu logo rather than hunting for a new brand. That works well if you land in Shenzhen from another Chinese city around 19:00–21:00 and just want something you already know before a 21:50 departure. Seats are basic canteen tables; this is eat-and-move, not a sit-for-two-hours kind of place.
The Ground Transportation Center branch matters if you roll in on the metro or airport coach after 21:30 and find most landside options closing. You can pick up a hot rice box before catching a Didi into Nanshan or Futian, instead of relying on convenience-store snacks. It’s also handy if you’re meeting family off a 22:00 arrival and want a quick bite before heading into the city.
Tip: if you’re tight on time at T3, hit the pre-set combo board, pay with mobile (WeChat Pay or Alipay typically accepted), and skip custom tweaks; you’re out in under 10 minutes compared with waiting for made-to-order stir-fries elsewhere in the terminal.
