KFC

T3 Open · 24 Hours

Open 24/7 in T3’s Ground Transportation Center

This KFC sits landside in Terminal T3, connected to the Ground Transportation Center, and runs 24 hours a day. It works well for late-night arrivals from domestic flights or early-morning departures on carriers like China Southern when most airside spots are dark.

Because it’s landside, you can eat here before security for T3 flights or while waiting for buses, taxis, and ride-hails in the Ground Transportation Center. Figure 10–15 minutes to walk from the main T3 departure hall security lanes down to the transport area and back, so build that into your boarding time.

Menu is standard KFC China: fried chicken buckets, chicken sandwiches, wings, egg tarts, congee at breakfast, and coffee. Expect individual meals around ¥35–¥55, with buckets and family sets running higher. It’s counter service with trays, so you can be in and out in under 20 minutes if the line is short.

Portions here match typical city KFC portions, and drink refills are usually not free, so order the size you actually want. If you land hungry after midnight and don’t want to gamble on airport noodles, the predictable chicken and fries here beat wandering T3 for something else that’s closed.

Seats are standard fast-food benches and two-tops, and power outlets are hit-or-miss, so don’t bank on charging your laptop. The space fills up around morning bank departures between 05:00 and 08:00 and again at evening peaks after 19:00, so plan for a short queue at those times.

Tip: If your boarding pass is already printed or on your phone, eat here first, then head to T3 security about 60–70 minutes before departure to avoid cutting it close.
