Roti O Kiosk

1

Gate-side carbs in Terminal 1

Five minutes from most domestic gates in Terminal 1, Roti O Kiosk is the quick bread-and-coffee stop when you just need something in your hand before boarding. It’s a small takeaway counter, not a sit-down café, so think grab-and-go rather than a long laptop session.

The menu centers on soft buns, usually in the IDR 10,000–20,000 range per piece, plus simple coffee and tea. Expect the usual Roti’O sweet rolls and a few filled options; stock can thin out during evening departures from around 18:00, so earlier flights see the best variety.

Service runs throughout the main flight banks in Terminal 1, roughly from early morning domestic departures to the last evening turns, so you can pick something up on both 06:00 and 21:00 flights. Payment is typically cash or standard Indonesian card rails; don’t count on every international wallet working smoothly.

No seating here, just a counter right on the Terminal 1 concourse, so you’ll be standing while you order and then walking straight back to your gate. Portion size on the buns is decent for a light breakfast or a filler between two short hops out of Surabaya.

Tip: if you see a fresh tray come out of the oven, grab from that batch immediately; the coffee-caramel bun tastes noticeably better warm than after 20–30 minutes in the case.
