Gate-side prices without the sit-down wait
Indomaret Point in Terminal 1 fills the “forgot something” gap with 24/7 convenience-store basics at street-style prices, not typical airport markups. You’ll see the familiar Indomaret branding after domestic security, before most food counters, so you can grab drinks or snacks and walk straight to gates 1–10 without backtracking.
Drinks run in the IDR 5,000–15,000 range for bottled water, tea, and local soft drinks, compared with IDR 20,000+ at some cafés in SUB Terminal 1. Shelves carry instant noodles, small breads, packaged Indonesian snacks like keripik and wafer bars, plus a few single-serve coffees and ready-to-drink milk. It’s all grab-and-go, no table service, and payment is fast: cash, local cards, and usually QRIS.
You won’t find hot meals or espresso shots here, just basic microwave noodles and cold drinks, so plan on this as a supply stop, not a full dinner solution. On the upside, prices on toiletries and travel odds and ends (toothpaste, tissues, basic meds) are close to what you’d see at city Indomaret branches, which is rare for an airport shop in Surabaya.
Practical tip: hit Indomaret Point first, then queue for boarding. Stock up on a 600 ml water and a snack under IDR 25,000, since many domestic flights out of Terminal 1 only hand out a small drink and a light bite.
