Gate-side espresso in T1 before your SSH departure
Segafredo sits airside in Terminal T1 at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport, right in the main departures area after security. It runs through the core flight banks, roughly from early morning check-in waves to late evening holiday departures, so you can usually grab a coffee before most charter and leisure flights out of SSH.
This is a straightforward Italian-branded coffee bar: expect espresso, cappuccino, and basic filter coffee, plus soft drinks and bottled water. Prices run higher than in town, with coffee typically in the 70–110 EGP range depending on size and type. Food is mainly pre-made pastries and simple sandwiches in the 120–200 EGP band, good for a quick bite but not a sit-down meal.
Seats are limited and directly face the T1 concourse, so you stay in sight of gates serving carriers like EgyptAir and various European charter airlines. Power outlets are hit-or-miss along the counter, so don’t count on charging a laptop while you work through a second espresso. Service is usually quick enough that a 15–20 minute stop works even on shorter connections inside T1.
Card payment is generally accepted, and staff are used to EUR and USD questions, but you get the cleanest pricing by paying in Egyptian pounds. Compared with other snack options in T1, Segafredo is stronger on coffee than on food, so treat it as your caffeine stop and pick up more serious snacks from another outlet if you have a longer wait.
One practical tip: T1 security at SSH can back up around the big outbound banks (think 2–3 hours before European departures), so clear formalities first, then head to Segafredo for a coffee rather than stopping landside.
