Gate B19: souvenirs that actually say “UTAH!” in giant letters
UTAH! sits in Terminal B by gate B19, right in the main passenger flow between the central food court and the B20+ gates. It opens daily at 6 a.m. and usually shuts around 9 p.m., so you can grab something on both the first Delta departures and the last bank of night flights.
This is a straight-up souvenir shop: think Utah T-shirts, 801 hats, National Parks mugs, keychains, magnets and kids’ plushes with moose and bison. You’ll see a lot of Bryce, Zion and Arches prints. Shirts often run in the $20–$30 range, smaller trinkets hover around $5–$15, and they frequently have a single rack of discounted seasonal items near the back wall.
Inventory leans heavy on logo gear and scenery: SLC-specific items, Utes and BYU colors, plus generic mountain graphics. No high-end outdoor gear here, just gift-shop basics. If you need a quick $10–$15 thank-you gift or something that literally spells out “UTAH” for kids or coworkers, this is easier than hunting in other B gates, which skew more to snacks and newsstand stock.
Everything is post-security in the main Terminal complex, so you do not leave the secure area to get here. Figure 2–3 minutes’ walk from around B9, closer to 7–8 minutes if you’re pushed out toward B23. Tip: if you’re boarding at A gates, hit UTAH! before you ride the tunnel over, since B19 is on the B side of the split.
