Long-Term Garage

Covered

Four days in the garage at SLC runs you $160

The “Long-Term Garage” at Salt Lake City is basically the airport’s Daily Garage Parking: covered spaces on Levels 2 and 3 of the main garage, directly across from the Terminal. It’s $40 per 24 hours, billed on a daily clock, so a Friday–Monday trip is $160 before taxes and fees. You walk across the road bridge into check-in in a few minutes, no shuttle bus in the mix.

Garage pricing at SLC only really pencils out on short trips under 3–4 days or when a company is paying. Regulars treat it as “long-term” only for quick business runs and then shift to the $12/day Economy lot or off‑airport lots for week‑long vacations. One Utah flyer said a 4‑day stay felt “super easy, just expensive,” and they would never pay garage rates again for a full week.

Access is simple: follow signs for Daily Garage Parking, then target Levels 2–3 for covered long‑term stays instead of the more transient Level 1 traffic. From most spots, you’re inside the Terminal in roughly 5–7 minutes on foot, depending on how far you park from the bridge and which airline counter you’re using. Elevators and marked pedestrian paths help if you have skis or checked bags.

Watch out for the bill creeping up on longer trips — 7 days in the garage is around $280 versus $84 in Economy, and off‑site competitors undercut both. If weather is calm and you’re price‑sensitive, that’s a big gap for the sake of skipping a 5–10 minute shuttle.

The move here: use the Long-Term/Daily Garage for 1–3 night trips or early‑morning departures, and switch to Economy once your stay hits the 4+ day mark.
