Centurion Lounge

Concourse A holds SLC’s American Express Centurion Lounge

This Centurion Lounge sits in Concourse A of Salt Lake City’s single Terminal, past security, and serves American Express Platinum, Centurion, and other eligible cardholders. It’s airside, so you can walk from most Delta gates in under 10 minutes if you’re already in Concourse A. Check Amex’s app or site for current opening hours, as smaller Centurion locations sometimes run shorter days, especially on weekends.

Entry runs on the standard American Express rules: show your Platinum or Centurion card, same-day boarding pass, and a government ID. Guesting usually follows the usual policy tied to your specific Amex product, and agents at the front desk at Concourse A will confirm exact limits. If you’re on a long layover over 3 hours, plan your visit around peak bank times, which at SLC often hit during early morning departures and late-afternoon returns.

Food and drink follow Centurion Lounge norms, with hot dishes, snacks, and a staffed bar, and prices baked into your card’s annual fee rather than charged at the door. Expect a self-serve buffet instead of made-to-order restaurant service, and plan a backup in Terminal restaurants along Concourse A if the spread looks picked over at peak times. Coffee and soft drinks are complimentary, and the bar usually pours beer, wine, and some cocktails without extra charge.

Seating is standard Centurion: mix of lounge chairs, small tables, and some work-friendly spots, all within walking distance of nearby A-gates that handle many Delta departures. Outlets sit near many seats, but bring a small power strip if you’re juggling more than two devices. Wi‑Fi in the lounge usually rides on the airport’s network, which at SLC covers the full Terminal and both main concourses.

One timing tip: if you’re landing into Concourse B or a remote regional position, give yourself at least 20 minutes to reach Concourse A, visit the Centurion Lounge, and then another 10–15 minutes to walk back toward the far end of your actual departure gate area in Terminal’s long concourses.
