Rent a Car Parking at Skopje International Airport (T) is the on-airport area where the major rental companies keep their cars, a short walk from the terminal entrance. You still handle all paperwork at the rental desks inside the terminal, then staff walk you out to this parking zone to collect the keys and do the damage check. It’s all on foot, no shuttle bus.
The rental desks are in the public area of the T terminal building, so you reach them before security, right after baggage claim on arrival. After signing, staff typically escort you to Rent a Car Parking in a few minutes, since the rows are directly outside the terminal area. On return, you drive straight back to Rent a Car Parking, hand over the keys to the agent for your company, and walk back into T for check-in. Plan 10–15 minutes for the inspection and paperwork before your airline’s check-in desk closes. Signage in the airport road system points you toward “Rent a Car” parking near the main terminal, so you’re not hunting for a separate garage.
There’s no separate public tariff here; the parking space is part of your rental agreement with the agency you booked, so you won’t be paying the regular SKP car park prices by the hour. The tradeoff: you can’t leave a private car in Rent a Car Parking, as it’s reserved for marked rental vehicles only. If you’re mixing a rental with a friend’s drop-off, use the standard short-stay car park for the private vehicle instead.
