Main Parking Lot

Short stay

50–100 meters from Terminal T, this is the true “front door” lot

Main Parking Lot sits directly in front of Skopje International Airport’s Terminal T, so you walk a minute or two at most from car to check-in. It’s the short-stay option on airport property, aimed at same-day trips, quick business overnights, or drop-offs where you want to park and walk in with someone instead of circling the kerb. Pricing runs on a daily rate around $X per day, higher than off-site fields but you’re paying for that front-row location.

This is the official airport lot, barrier-controlled and open 24/7, so late-night arrivals on flights landing after 23:00 still pull straight in and out without hunting for a backroad car park. It works well for 1–2 days; past that, the per‑day cost stings compared with long-stay options further from T. Payment is at machines near the terminal entrance, taking cards and local currency, and you keep the original ticket to exit cleanly at the barrier.

Signage points to "Main Parking" as you approach the terminal access road, and the entrance sits just before the main departures drop‑off. Stalls are standard-size, uncovered, and in visible sight of the terminal glass, which many people prefer if they’re leaving the car with laptop bags in the boot for under 24 hours. There’s no dedicated shuttle because you don’t need one; you walk straight across the access road to the terminal doors.

Tip: if your trip from SKP is longer than one night or spans a full weekend, run the math first — once you pass 2–3 days at $X per day, it’s usually cheaper to leave the car in a longer‑stay lot or come by taxi instead.
