Priority Pass check-in for Apricot Lounge lives up in Rose

On the mezzanine level of T2 international, Rose Lounge acts as the swipe desk for Priority Pass and similar cards before staff walk you downstairs to Apricot Lounge. ANA and Star Alliance partner premium passengers also use this space as their contract lounge in T2. If your Priority Pass app only shows Apricot, you still start upstairs at Rose to get in. Think of Rose as the admin counter and Apricot as the main floor with longer hours and better drinks.

Rose sits airside after security in T2, above the main international departures concourse used for flights like NH892 to Tokyo and other ANA-operated routes. Signage in the terminal points to multiple lounges; follow the escalator up and look specifically for “Rose Lounge” on the board, not Apricot. Doors usually open several hours before the first ANA departure of the day and close in line with the late-night bank, while Apricot downstairs runs 24 hours once you’re checked through. That timing matters if you land on a midnight arrival and have an early-morning connection.

Food and drink at Rose generally run lighter than what you get at Apricot downstairs, with simpler buffet items and more limited alcohol reported by recent flyers. Travellers paying cash for access (often around the equivalent of USD 30–40 at SGN) should compare that with using a card product that covers Priority Pass entry handled here. If you care more about hot food or stronger drinks, ask staff at check-in to route you directly to Apricot instead of settling into a seat at Rose.

Regular Priority Pass users in T2 head straight to Rose, swipe their card at the desk, and explicitly request “Apricot Lounge downstairs” to get walked down or have access noted on their stub. Several bloggers mention that staff know this drill and handle the transfer in a couple of minutes. If you only say “lounge,” they may default you into staying in Rose, which works fine for a quick 45-minute sit before boarding but doesn’t maximize what your card can get you.

One practical move: screenshot your Priority Pass or lounge card details before you leave your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, then go directly to Rose after T2 security and ask for Apricot by name to avoid any confusion at the counter.
