Relay

SDR’s landside Relay is the main place for basics

This Relay sits landside in Terminal T at Santander, before security, and it’s essentially the airport’s convenience store. You’ll find bottled drinks, packaged snacks, candy bars, and grab‑and‑go items to throw in your bag before heading upstairs to departures. In an airport with very limited retail, this is where you stock up.

Relay carries magazines, Spanish newspapers, and a few international titles, plus pocket books to kill time before your flight from T. There are also simple stationery items like pens, notepads, and envelopes, handy if you need to fill out forms or fix paperwork at check‑in. Prices run higher than downtown Santander kiosks, but still in typical European airport range.

On the travel-gear side, look for phone charging cables, basic headphones, travel-sized toiletries under 100 ml, and small umbrellas that fit easily in a cabin bag. If you forgot a plug adapter or need an extra power bank before a 2–3 hour hop, this is usually your only shot in SDR. It’s all standard Relay stock, nothing luxury, but it covers most last-minute gaps.

Hours generally track flight banks, opening before the first morning departures out of T and staying open for evening returns, though early Sunday or very late off‑schedule arrivals may find the shutters down. Since post‑security options are limited and sometimes crowded, buy water and snacks here, then clear security in one go.
