Remote

¥1,000 per day gets you into Sendai Airport’s Remote Parking

Figure on ¥1,000 per calendar day here, capped at ¥6,000 for a full week, which undercuts the main lots if you’re gone more than a couple of days. It’s a remote lot about 1 mile from the terminals, so this is the budget play rather than the closest option.

The lot sits roughly a 15-minute walk from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, but the airport runs a shuttle that covers the same distance in about 10 minutes. Shuttles are scheduled about every 30 minutes, so build that gap into your timing on both departure and return. If you just missed a shuttle, walking the 1 mile can actually be faster.

Pricing is simple: ¥1,000 per day up to ¥6,000 for seven days, then the weekly rate repeats (so two weeks runs about ¥12,000). That makes the Remote Parking lot make the most sense once you’re past a 3–4 day trip versus paying higher daily rates closer in. Payment machines at Japanese airports usually support cash and major cards; bring a chip card and some ¥1,000 notes as backup.

There’s no terminal protection from here, so factor in Sendai’s winter weather when deciding between the 15-minute walk and the 10-minute shuttle ride. With the shuttle only every 30 minutes, don’t cut it close for a 08:00 departure out of Terminal 1 or 2. On the return, you’ll exit arrivals, follow signs for parking shuttles, and catch the same 10-minute ride back to the remote lot.

Tip: Aim to arrive at the lot at least 45–60 minutes before check-in cut-off to absorb the 30-minute shuttle headway plus the 10-minute ride to the terminals.
