Samsung

T2

Gate area in SCL’s T2: Samsung sits in the main international departures flow, easy to spot by the bright logo near other big electronics brands. It’s post-security, so you’re clear of passport control before you get here. Handy if you forgot a charger on a LATAM long-haul out of T2 and don’t want to mess with the smaller newsstands.

This Samsung store in Terminal 2 leans hard into phones, tablets, and accessories rather than big-ticket TVs. Expect current Galaxy models, earbuds, watches, and a decent wall of cables and power bricks, all priced close to downtown Santiago, not duty-free “steal” territory. Staff usually speak at least Spanish and some English, which helps if you’re trying to sort out compatibility on a fast charge brick before a 13-hour flight.

Figure 5–15 minutes here if you know what you want, longer if you’re comparison-shopping models before boarding at a nearby T2 gate. It’s a solid spot for USB-C and USB-A cables, plug adapters, and backup batteries, especially if your airline out of SCL doesn’t guarantee power at every economy seat. Don’t bank on deep discounts, but do bank on branded gear instead of random kiosk stock.

Practical tip: swing by Samsung in T2 before hitting your gate if your phone is under 30% and you don’t have a power bank; grabbing one here beats hunting for a free outlet in a crowded SCL boarding area.
