Maxi-K

T1

T1 Maxi-K sits landside, useful if someone’s still checking in

Maxi-K in Terminal T1 sits before security, so this is the quick grab stop if you realize at check-in that you forgot snacks or a charger. It feels more like a Chilean neighborhood minimarket than an airport boutique, with shelves of packaged food, drinks, and small essentials you can run in and out for in 5 minutes.

Pricing runs above city supermarkets but below many airside duty free spots, with bottled drinks and basic snacks typically in the CLP 1,000–3,000 range. You’ll find standard soft drinks, water, and some local chips and cookies that beat whatever’s in the onboard buy-on-board cart. It’s pay-at-the-counter only; no self-checkout.

Stock leans heavily to packaged goods and travel basics. Expect bottled water, sodas, candy, nuts, and cookies, plus small toiletries like toothpaste and deodorant that save a late-night scramble. Don’t count on niche electronics; think basic charging cables and maybe power adapters, not high-end headphones or tablets.

Maxi-K usually opens early morning in T1, serving the first departures, and stays open into the late evening wave that peaks around 21:00–23:00. Lines move quickly when there are two cashiers; if a long-haul check-in bank hits and only one register is open, budget 10 extra minutes.

Tip: hit Maxi-K before heading to T1 security so you can carry a sealed 500 ml bottle or snacks through the checkpoint and skip the higher-priced impulse buys closer to the gates.
