45–60 minutes from SAW to Kadıköy by Havabus coach

Havabus Kadıköy runs non-stop airport coaches from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport’s Terminal T to Kadıköy on the Asian side, with a typical ride time of about 45–60 minutes depending on D-100 traffic. Buses load outside the arrivals level, and you pay the driver or ticket staff as you board.

The Havabus Kadıköy line operates every day with departures roughly every 30–60 minutes from early morning until late evening, matching most Pegasus and AnadoluJet bank times at SAW. Coaches use large luggage holds, so full-size checked bags go underneath while you keep smaller items in the cabin.

Tickets are sold as a flat per-person fare on the Kadıköy route, charged in Turkish lira and payable in cash or card on most vehicles. One ticket covers the entire T-terminal to Kadıköy run, with no need to tap in again or change buses along the way.

The route runs from the airport via main arterial roads to central Kadıköy, ending near the Kadıköy Rıhtım area, which sits a short walk from ferry piers and the metro M4 line. The same stops work in reverse when you are heading back to SAW Terminal T for your departing flight.

Havabus Kadıköy coaches have standard intercity-style seats arranged in pairs, with basic air conditioning and reading lights, but no seat reservations or assigned seating. Boarding is first-come, first-served at both SAW and Kadıköy, and buses sometimes leave early once full, even if the printed time shows a few minutes left.

For late-night or very early-morning flights that do not line up with the standard Havabus Kadıköy schedule, you may need to switch to a yellow taksi or ride-hail from SAW Terminal T, which can cost several times the bus fare. Always check the same-day timetable posted at the airport stop before committing to the coach.

Tip: If you land at SAW around local rush hour, budget at least 90 minutes from stepping out of Terminal T to reaching Kadıköy, and take the first Havabus that shows your destination on the front sign.
