HD Döner

Gate-side döner fix in T Terminal

Right inside Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen’s T terminal, HD Döner runs like a fast-food line: order at the counter, grab a tray, and you’re eating within 5–10 minutes. It’s one of the airport’s standard Turkish options, focused almost entirely on döner in sandwich, wrap, or plate form, plus fries and soft drinks.

Prices sit in the typical airport range: expect a basic döner dürüm or sandwich to land around mid-range fast-food pricing for SAW, with combo meals a bit higher once you add fries and a drink. Portions are generous enough that a single wrap or sandwich usually handles a full meal before a 3–4 hour flight.

The menu centers on sliced meat off the rotisserie, usually chicken or beef döner, served in pita-style bread, lavash wraps, or over rice. If you want something more filling before a long-haul connection, go for a döner plate with rice and salad rather than the basic sandwich, which is better for shorter hops within Turkey.

HD Döner operates typical airport hours, roughly covering the main bank of departures from early morning into late evening, so you can usually get a hot sandwich at 07:00 or something heavier around 21:00. It’s fully post-security in T, so you won’t be able to eat here before check-in or after baggage claim.

Seating is standard food-court style, with tables that turn over fast and trays you bus yourself. Lines spike during peak waves of Pegasus departures, especially around the 06:00–09:00 and 18:00–21:00 banks, but they usually move steadily as most orders are assembled from prepped meat.

Tip: if your boarding pass shows a nearby T gate with boarding in under 30 minutes, ask for your döner in wrap form instead of a plate so you can walk straight to the gate and eat on the way.
