Pret a Manger

3

Near the T3 gates, Pret a Manger is the grab-and-go option.

This Pret a Manger sits airside in Terminal 3 at King Khalid International Airport, a short walk from most domestic gates. It runs on the usual Pret model: pre-made sandwiches, salads, wraps, pastries, and barista coffee lined up in refrigerated cases so you can be in and out in under 5–10 minutes, even when boarding has started.

Expect typical Pret pricing, with sandwiches and wraps generally in the mid-range compared to other RUH cafés, and coffee priced a bit below sit-down restaurants in T3. You’ll see the standard international-style options: chicken salad or tuna sandwiches, basic vegetarian choices, croissants, and simple desserts. It’s much more “airport fast-food café” than a place to linger over a 45-minute meal.

Seating directly by Pret in Terminal 3 is limited, and a lot of passengers just grab their food and eat at the gate. That works fine for short-haul flights of 1–2 hours when you just want something in hand before boarding. If you need a more substantial hot meal, you may be better off at one of the sit-down spots elsewhere in T3, using Pret just for coffee or a snack.

There’s no table service and no made-to-order kitchen here; you’re choosing from what’s already in the fridges at that exact time. Early-morning flights out of Terminal 3 tend to find the best pastry selection, while late-night departures sometimes see reduced sandwich variety. Check the date labels on the packaging, which Pret displays clearly on each item.

Tip: if your gate in T3 is already posted, walk there first, then double back to Pret a Manger so you know exactly how far you are and can time your coffee run to stay within the final 30 minutes before boarding.
